Brett Mayfield, Independence Blue Cross Senior VP and Local Market President
(Consumer, Small Group and Middle Markets), will open this educational session
by sharing his thoughts and observations on the current state of our industry.
Additionally, he will review the IBC footprint expansion, leadership updates and
leveraging broker relationships in the local landscape.
Special guest speaker Dr. Richard L. Snyder M.D., Executive Vice President, Facilitated Health Networks, and Chief Medical Officer for Independence Blue Cross,
will discuss trends, vaccination rollout, return to work steps, and future state of healthcare trends, provider and community engagement. All will be discussed with
consideration to our whole-person health initiative.
Madelyn Fernstrom, PhD, Health Strategist and Quil Health Chief Clinical and Science Advisor, will continue to elaborate on the change that the pandemic has accelerated the partnership trends and technology innovations in the patients, providers and payer spaces.
